What ever happened to the Brook Chaves fight? Brook had a very minor injury and instead of postponing it he went back to fighting bums?

Sorry not buying it. I can see why Khan doesn't want to hand this guy fame on a platter.
IBF are pretty strict with their mandos.

When Brook fought Donut Dan and Gavin the other belts were tied up with Mayweather v Pacquaio. So Brook couldn't unify at those points.

Even now, the WBO is tied up with PAC v Bradley, the WBA is tied up with Thurman v Porter.

Hopefully though they can make a fight with Garcia for the WBC and IBF.

It's shít to see the IBF instating these no hopers as mandatories but it would have made no sense for Kell to discard the belt just to fight a Robert Guerrero or Chavez tonight, because if he loses the belt he loses pulling power in making fights against the big names.

No excuses now though. He shouldnt have a mandatory due until December/January. So he has plenty of time to make big fights now. And the likes of Chavez won't cut it. He needs to unify or move up and see if he can get the Cotto fight.

          Terrible mismatch.

Not Brook's fault though. The IBF need to really re-assess their rankings i think.

Either way, it's time to step it up now for Brook.

Brook can't be respected until he faces a lion. Errol is hungry and should prove quite the test for Kell.

other then kell brook, the welterweight division has weak title holders, garcia, vargas, thurman.

i think kell brook beats them all. even timmy.

                    Wait a second!

A year ago and even more recently , most commentators are saying that the WW div. was THE most loaded in the sport. So Brook beats them all because it's a weak division?

The welterweight division is a perfect example of everything wrong in boxing, today.

It is overflowing with young, talented, fighters who are all in their prime and just refuse to fight each other. It's incredible, I've never seen anything like it.
