The only time I can recall Conte talking about cutting off testing close to an event was on the Joe Rogan show where he said it would be ****** for anybody (Pacquiao) to take steroids or PEDs two weeks out form a fight because the benefits of PEDs take place during heavy training, not when you're tapering off - and that it's too risky to take anything at that point.

I've heard these comeback tones far too many times on NSB when the heat starts to rise. Our particular conversation was regarding VADA correct? Which Conte provides consultation to, and however way we want to paint the picture, but VADA ( the middlemen) then relay such analytics to HBO for the drug testing protocol including press. Why would VADA need Conte's consultation? Aren't they qualified enough? Or rather, he's the PED expert to provide ways on how to combat PED trickery correct?
