1.1 million? That's it? It would be best just to take HBO's 1 million. That'll get the date they want plus a much bigger audience.

May as well take it. As long as it isn't delayed for like a month. Unless he thinks fighting at the PR parade weekend makes then extra sales from Verdajo fight. But I doubt $1.1 mil gets it done.

People keep saying 1.1mIL but Espinosa said 1.1mil+. That's important.

No way arum could be this stupid. They trying to ambush his old ass.
Arums clearly not dumb, probably one of the brightest in the business but he isn't exactly getting any love from HBO. I think TR this years had 1 card on this year with Crawford/Lindy Verejo/???? And Vargas fought on a GB card in a fight he was supposed to lose against Ali, they didn't even give the guy a dressing room

They have the ,Pac/Bradley PPV coming up and aftr that maybe the PR weekend that's not a lot of dates offered up to them

I kind of view TR as losing importance importance to HBo . It seems like since GB has Canelo they are getting allot of love right now and getting as much time as TR is. Excluding PPV Top Rank will probably get 3 - 4 shows on HBo this year

K2 ,GGG are going to eat up 2-3 dates
Main Events /Kov eat up another 2-3 dates

It would never happen because of the lawsuit and various other reasons but it probably isn't a bad idea for Arum to jump over to Showtime / PBC better match ups for his fighters and probably more dates

Your right though Arums getting the squeeze from all sides right now.

Yeah losing Chavez, Cotto, Garcia, Marquez inactive, and soon Pacquiao, has lost there leverage at HBO.

Crawford is limited in his star power, and we still don't know what Verdejo will be. Top rank just doesn't have the leverage they once did.

But if arum went to Showtime, his leverage in this sport would be dead. Hbo would say adios, and Haymon would make him get rid of his lawsuit, and than bleed him to death for Showtime fights.

Hbo is doing a good job driving the prices down for there fighters, it's needed for the future of the sport, Showtime needs to do the same.

Arum has bounced between Showtime and HBO plenty of times. What are you talking about? He took Manny to Showtime. Going between networks is normal.

Nothing has changed. You're making up scenarios in order for the fight not to happen which is weird

I'm not making up any scenarios but there is legitimate changes In the boxing landscape now compared when PAC fought on Showtime years ago.

It does no one any good to ignore that.
