Showtime offers Top Rank $1.1M for Loma-Walters

Is that ********? Lomachenko will not win anymore than what he's guaranteed if he wins. Walters will win $300k more if he wins. Plus Lomachenko said to put it as a stipulation in the contract. I don't see how that's illegal. You can't gamble your own purse. That's illegal. People keep saying Walters isn't worth $1M but in terms of supply and demand he is worth that. The demand for Loma to fight a top opponent is high and the supply is short. Who else is he gonna fight? Walters is pricing himself at market price.Comment

If Top Rank put up the money as a bonus it would work. But I'm pretty sure risking your own money could be seen as ********. Betting sites wouldn't touch that fight.Comment

To be fair, Stephen Espinoza said 1.1+ (No lower than)
And tbh, at this point, I kind of hope Showtime gets it over HBO
HBO please get your act togetherComment

Arum isn't ****** enough to take this bait.
He goes to Showtime and than all of a sudden hbo shuns him for his lack of loyalty.
And now arum has no where to go, because he pissed off hbo, and Haymon runs Showtime's dates.
No way arum could be this ******. They trying to ambush his old ass.Comment

Cool, so $1 million for Walters and 100k for Lomo right? Lol...@StephenEspinoza why don't u offer TR 1.1 million 4 Loma-Walters? I'd like it better than anything u hv planned aside from Wilder Povetkin.

Bob wants it only on the date we already have Provodnikov-Molina...so we can't. If he were flexible, he'd get 1.1M+. https://t.co/YbyVZUGTV1

1.1 Million to Split? It is a big fight for us Hardcore Fans but it is clear it is not that big of a fight to Networks! I'm a little surprise that neither network is willing to offer more for this one. Why not just have both fight other opponents on the same card to try and build this one up moreComment
