Yeah, GGG doesn't even rep Asia does he? I never seen him talk about anything other than his Eastern Euro roots.

Plus he hasn't fought any hall of famers yet to even be considered in the tops list, but he is just a victim of a weak division era

Oct 19, 2015 - That is about to change starting with the 2020 population census. The bureau announced today that it has decided to reclassify Filipinos to 'Pacific Islander,' citing several significant reasons: The Philippines is an island nation that is not connected to the main Asian continent.

GGG's father is 100% russian, not originally Kazakh. His mother is 50% Korean and 50% Russian, again not Kazakh. Meaning, GGG is 1/4 Asian. 75% White, he is a Russian fighter.

Golovkin’s maternal grandfather was part of this relocation. Born in Korea but raised in Russia since he was age 1, Sergey Pak was sent to Kazakhstan, where he met and married a Russian woman. In 1947, they had a daughter, Elizaveta Pak, Golovkin’s mother

Gennady is a pride of the Soviet Union

it's the russian genes that make him so great, not the lesser korean ones

I bet GGG would be even better if his genetic make up was 100% russian

I'm starting to think these trolls are saying this on purpose just to annoy us. I'm russian, I'm a patriot. I love our fighters. Gennady is one of ours.

              russian patriot, yeah right

what are you doing rooting for Wilder against Povetkin then

you bring shame to Russia by chosing a hypejob over your own

and koreans are inferior to russians, boxing wise

pardon me, but how many champs or p4p's Korea has

Wilder is the real deal, he's no hype job. Povetkin struggles with tall fighters.

What's wrong with rooting for Wilder? I'm born russian, but live in the USA. Povetkin winning would be horrible for boxing, he is not getting past Fury.
