That's a delusional statement. He didn't beat Golovkin so he has to get back in line to fight guys like Rosado/Stevens/. Once be beats them, he can go after a Lemieux/Jacobs/Saunders/Lee type.
Once he beats those caliber of guys then he can talk about advancing his career and wanting the big names. He's proven nothing so far. These divas just want everything handed to them.
But I guess when Canelo throws your name in the mix you start feeling yourself.Comment

When was this fight offered though? I don't remember hearing anything about this. Just about Monroe not being able to land fights after the Golovkin fight.
Rosado fought Clottey in December. Monroe was finally given a fight I wanna say in February than the opponent pulled out, than the same thing happened in March. He now has a date in June on the Provo-Molina card vs. one of Haymon's 160's up and comers.
You have to remember Monroe Jr is with Banner. Willie was actually the last guy with Banner to fight on HBO. They've been working on a deal with Showtime and now that is official. That was one reason Monroe couldn't get a fight. Now that ship has sailed, look for him to be more active with Showtime and on PBC broadcast.Comment

Willie Monroe just reached certified hoe status with that exchange. That was just embarrassing and he should feel bad.Comment
