Supporting based on race is terrible. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with supporting a fighter based on nationalism, or any sports entity for that matter. Imagine Brazil playing Germany in the world cup and all the Brazilians are wearing Germany outfits and singing German songs? That would be totally illogical, same as supporting a fighter from another nationality over your own.

How is the country going to invest in the sport if the people don't support their own fighters? How are young prospects going to be motivated if they don't get supporting from their country men?

Nah yaw, totally illogical that. Guys like Anthony Joshua and Eubanks Jnr are big in england because their country men are behind them one hundred percent, and you can see the kind of confidence and motivation that is oozing of of them as a result.

The race thing is bad, especially when it leads you to 'hate' on other fighters simply because they are of a different race. However there aint nothing wrong with supporting Nationality, though one should be carefully not to end up obsessively hating on fighters from other nationalities as well.

No. I hope you're just getting caught up in that trolling that you've become so fond of lately and that you're smarter than the things you wrote about Ward lately (which absolutely contradict each other every time you post them).
Ward has hard a hard road from the gate and is constantly battling against adversity, and proving people wrong. Going after Kovalev is literally the hardest challenge one could take in boxing right now, especially when you're a weight class below him. If you were right about him having to go up (which you're likely not), then he could go after Stevenson or any number of other options. A huge guy like Barrera in your first LHW fight is not the path of least resistance. It's all risk, no reward. But, he's doing it to get properly prepared for the bigger challenge in Kovalev.

The scenario you're trying to paint is an absurd hater's fantasy and it would take a long road of delusion to get there.

From a legal perspective, he was wrong to sue Goossen but he did it anyway as he believed that he was in the right

Now that he is back on track, he is after Kovalev at 175

He is not demanding to fight him at 169 whilst fighting the 6th ranked JMW in the meantime

If he beats Barrera, I have no doubt that he will fight Kovalev
