    Word on the street is that Ward actually came in at 179.8, but has been dealing with diarrea as a result of the ongoing stress and fear of Golovkin, and he took several trips to the toilet to both poop, and vomit before the official weigh in.

    Take that for what it's worth.

      Will be interesting to see how the extra weight comes into play for Ward. It's a misconception that his style relies on speed. He's not fast, he's just mentally quick and perceptive. He has always been about spoiling and implementing his own game. Frustrating them, punishing them. Be it the rangey body jab, cutting an angle and striking, or bullying on the inside.

      I think the real question for me will be if he's hindered by injuries.

        Damn Ward is a Full Light Heavyweight now!

        Both look ripped and ready to go, can't wait!

        Barrera was doing a lot of trash talking before the fight was signed, he been surprisingly quiet leading up to this fight surprisingly

          Ward has one of the best body jab in the game and so does Kovalev, can't wait to see that matchup. Excited for tomorrow as well.

            I'm really curious to see how that plays out in the fight. In fact, I've pondered it quite a bit. Ward's posture is such that Kov would have a hard time body jabbing, particularly because of the way Kov fights tall. Kovalev showed in the Hopkins fight that he can lash out a quick, downward right hand to a guy who comes in low. That can be very damaging and if he can implement it, he stifles half of Ward's game. But, Ward has a couple of factors that make it intriguing;
            -His body jab and straight right to the body are so stiff they can stifle a guy's counter offense for a moment (Abraham is the perfect example).
            -He can bait a guy into throwing that attack Kovalev throws and counter the guy's counter (he fked up Dawson doing this very thing).

            REALLY looking forward to their fight.

                Ward should take it but Barrera is no pushover should be a good one.

                  Should be a good one. I have this nagging feeling Ward might not look as good as we might expect though.
