Berto is from a different world. The UFC don't work like boxing. No one loses a big fight & then spends a year or two rebuilding with easy wins like is common in boxing. Even if Conor loses he's not anywhere near a situation like David Price post-back to back L's to Thompson or Mosley post-back to back L's to Forrest. He'll be headlining UFC 200, he'll be headlining his fight after that & he'll be headlining cards for the foreseeable future.

I think Conor has a solid shot at coming away with a W. Anyone who saw the fight saw Conor beat the **** outta Nate almost all night til he wasn't & then it was over. Sure Nate was landing his own shots, sure Nate was taking Conor's punches unlike previous Conor opponents, sure Nate's ground game is much sicker than he's given credit for, but the reality is he was still getting the **** beat outta him...til he wasn't & he had won. And despite all the talk about Nate doing better if he was in shape, the reality is he's known to block punches with his face & gets by on his toughness more than being in shape & his toughness was one of the key factors in his W.

thats how the diaz brother's fight. if u watch any of their fights u would know this. they always get beaten up early on then come on strong. their always bloody and bruised up. conor will not be able to beat nate, he didnt even hurt nate at all, the first punch nate landed clean conor couldnt take it. the only way he'll have a chance is if he makes nate come down to 155. both nate and nick are tough as hell. sloppy style but tough as nail!

Honestly if you re-watch the first rd Conor only landed 4 signicant strikes, the one that bloodied Diaz was off the corner of his glove on Diaz eyebrow which has been opened a billion times before. Had Nate had a full camp, Im not saying Conor wouldnt have landed but not as many or not as signifcant as the cut. I actually thought Conor was doing better in the second rd when he was moving forward aggressively instead of trying to do spinning gay crap, problem is you dont play a Mexicans game because chances are you will lose.

Fact of the matter is just like Diaz said, he is just simply a better fighter, tougher, stronger, and more skilled. Conor is just an athletic guy but just like boxing, athleticism can only get you so far (maybe a championship) because just like my dad always told me, "theres always someone badder than you out there son" and thats what happened to Conor, he met a dude from the hood that dont give a f#ck & was/is a badder dude. These Diaz bros love to fight anytime anywhere, Conors a prize fighter and got punked basically when it came to being in a dog fight. Not everyone is going to lay down, look at Buster Douglas.

Well I hope MMA fighters don't start listening to boxers about how many fights they should take off fighting somebody with a pulse after a loss.

McGregor is most interested in making as much money as possible and the rematch will be huge. UFC 200 is likely to be the highest grossing MMA show of all time. He'd be a fool not to take it regardless of whether he wins or loses.

Win and the hype train continues, probably with a suicidal shot at Lawler. Lose and he's made a **** ton of money, is still a huge name and is still unbeaten at 145.

Who would he fight instead at UFC 200? Edgar? Aldo? Those fights draw far less interest and make him and the UFC far less money. Not to mention a defeat against either would damage his reputation significantly more than Diaz at 170.

                It's a no-brainer.

Andre Berto keep saying he is friends with Conor, yet I have never seen these two together ever or even chilling when both are in Cali and LA?

                    This dude trolling hard man.

I now have a lot more respect and understanding for MMA than I had awhile back..... but I will always be a boxing guy..... the sweet science, with it's history, and technical precision, will always be my game.

In saying that, I agree with you..... * slinks off into the undergrowth *

MMA is real hard, so hard to master everything, and so many ways to lose..... also, they match em up real tough, right from the word go.....

How the fk did Bas Rutten FINISH his career with an unbeaten 21 fight streak?

Seriously, why would anyone fight that man, what a fkn animal LMAO
