I do agree, he's beat nobody, and lost to a nobody.

I have yet to see a thread on this poignant topic. I can't wait to see where the discussion heads.

He beats Mayweather, he's almost 6ft FFS and is more of a light-middleweight.

Mayweather was a featherweight at the Olympics.

I agree wit this thread. Especially deep in the boxing game. Ovahyped is a good word to describe Antonio.

yup, he sure is. he is too lanky. i think those long wide swinging arms of his are going to be his downfall when he fights someone who really gets in on him and starts hammering on his body.

Margarito isn't worthy but Zab Judah(Who was coming off an embarissing loss to Carlos Baldomir) Sharmba Mitchell (Who was bombed in three by Tszyu). But Margarito doesn't deserve a shot by Knocking out undefeated Kermit Cintron, ko'd Gomez in 1 and has stayed undefeated at 147 for almost 10 years.

i wish that margarito had any popularity or money making potential or SKILL instead of just brute force. then maybe all of that would matter

thats true. he is not marketable nor is he good enough to fight at the top of the division. he is way to slow and he telegraphs his punches. floyd easily outboxes him, as does mosley, hatton gets inside and brutalizes him. judah outboxes him, he might beat gatti(if he is lucky) cotto gets inside his reach and destroys him.
margarito is all hype. as soon as he fights any of these guys he loses.
