Comments Thread For: Frankie Gavin License Reinstated By BBBoC

Birmingham's Frankie Gavin (22-2, 13 early) has had his BBBoC licence reinstated by the Board and the 30-year-old welterweight will be free to fight from May.

Gavin was hit with a ban after being found guilty of affray last year following a fight outside a bar in Somerset. He was handed a five-month sentence, which was suspended for 12, 180 hours community service and was hit with a 1800 fine. Gavin also paid costs to the six victims.

Hopefully Eddie gives the public what they want and makes Gavin v Skeete 2.

He is quite a good fighter and all but can you imagine if Tyrone Nurse stepped up in weight and fought Bradley Skeete.

In my head that is literally the worst boxing match that could possibly be made in the history of the game.
