Comments Thread For: Parker-Takam Talks Continue as IBF Deadline Looms

Duco Events are willing to put up more than $1m in money for the two fighters, pushing it beyond the million-dollar mark shared by David Tua and Shane Cameron for their 2009 extravaganza in Hamilton.

"Duco Events"? LOL WTH is Parker doing with such a nobody outfit.

PBC should sign him ASAP along with his training partner Izu Ugonoh. Two highly marketable heavyweights should be with someone who can get them fights and exposure..

Parker's career has a great trajectory and is commanding more attention in NZ than Wilder is in the USA, so what are you talking about?

Don't be surprised to see Parker fighting all over the world with Duco as opposed to PBC which would have him fighting exclusively in the USA against 3rd rate Heavyweights like Wilder.

Parker has a huge following already, and not just in NZ this fight surely makes the most sense in NZ if Takam is hoping for a neutral venue AUS won't be much more neutral than NZ.

It sounds as though Takam and his team genuinely believe they can win this one and aren't looking to cash out on this one but more so the Joshua fight.
