a)nobody knows how many "defenses" GGG has because he didnt win the title in the ring, and he was elevated from "regular" champion

b) GGG gets a lot of love but its sad that people who get crapped on this site like Khan, Wlad, Ward, Canelo, etc all have better resumes and been in with better competition

he has a fight lined up with a solid light heavyweight this weekend and arguably the best boxer puncher lined up for later this year....if you are scared or chasing weak competition, you dont go after the best in your divsion.

He turned pro at middleweight, most people dont even know the facts but talk on topics they know little about.

Dude was a prospect before the super 6 and came out as the best in the divison.

You cant avoid injuries in a sport like boxing. As far as the legal issues, they are over so I wont even speak on them.

While doing this he tried to have hbo approve of guys like
Dimitri Sartison, Caleb Truax and Paul Smith. Hbo declined all these opponents for obvious reasons which is why his last fight was on BET.
Only reason Ward is fighting Barrera now and in line to fight Kovalev was because HBO forced his hand. If not this guy will be wanting to get CSAC to approve of Murdock since the NSAC rejected him last time in October.

I dont like Khan s style or his attitude but he won a silver medal at 17 and isnt even 30 and has done more than 90% of the active fighters today

I give credit where its due....dude started at lightweight, will be fighting the middleweight champion and has wins over 9 current or former titleholders

He is a good fighter, Im not a big fan of his though....but look at a guy like GGG....he and Khan have the same amount of wins and he has only defeated 3 former titleholders and he is supposed to be this feared monster...p4p top 3-4..more like p4p most hype.

No I wasn't in the negotiations, but from what was reported the deals were offered and he rejected them. Again he rejected the Bute fight even though Showtime signed Bute exclusively for Ward. They build up Bute for him, created buzz and excitement for this fight all so that Ward can b*tch out of the fight. No one is saying he should fight for peanuts but HBO was paying him 2 mill per fight. What did he think he deserved?
