He knows how to fight inside, outside, on a pivot, etc....I thoroughly enjoy watching his fights....just depends on the opponent.

except for Floyd when he was in his prime....I havent seen a fighter in recent memory get criticized for doing exactly what you are supposed to do in the ring.

    a)adapt b)neutralize your oppponent c)win

I guess some people on this site have a loser's mentality....excuses, excuses, excuses
Meh...they just make excuses because he beat their favorite fighters and is the biggest threat to their other favorites. Froch and Kessler were very liked.

What's funny is Arthur Abraham was actually clinching Ward to prevent him from working inside.

Abraham was like the GGG of his era of middleweights....he was knocking MFers out left and right...what happened? He got thoroughly outboxed and manhandled...hasnt looked impressive since moving to 168

I dont understand why people think just because you punch hard, that equates to you being physically strong

Ward was just too skilled in all areas for Abraham...GGG too, thats why his fans are slick relieved that the fight didnt happen. They know GGG's only hope was a Jones-Tarveesque ending otherwise he getting beat up

I liked Kessler and Froch as well. I was shocked someone that seasoned lost to a upstart. then I did a little research at the time and watched other fights....Only fighter I favor to beat him or even money 175 and below is Kovalev...he outboxes Pascal, Stevenson and the rest....Stevenson has the eraser though just like Kov

Eh not really. Abe struggled vs scrubs at MW a lot, cause he's a mediocre boxer taught to box by numbers by Wegner. No real amateur career

He was down on the cards vs Gevor late, lost 4 rounds to Simon, lost rounds and went 12 with Ayala...

Yooooooo..I actually agree with HeroBando. Hell must've froze offer.

My take is, level of opposition is similar. But that will change once the other title holders act like fighters and step up.

Skill level, favor GGG by a long shot. Much more well rounded fighter that can attack you in so many ways.

Take nothing away from King Arthur. That was badass beating Miranda with a broken jaw.

I have no idea how any boxing fan could point to ANY boxing organisation without laughing.

The outfit that you are referring to are likely using genuine P4P criteria, which heavily relies on familiarization, and the eye test..... and is centered around who would likely win in a fight..... I wouldn't take any of them as gospel, they all have different criteria.
That's a little different, albeit a tad preposterous too. Canelo has at least fought for and won a MW belt from former MW champ Cotto, who's also not a MW. Does anybody who supports CWs see how silly & weird this sounds?
