You don't say? I would have assumed their goal was to find boring fights no one wants to watch, I admit I'm quite shocked by this revelation.

Instead of "action" fights can we just have good ones.

the card is weak. lemieux will ragdoll tapia and herrera will play spoiler against gomez. i haven't seen teixeira before but that sounds like a decent scrap

they should have rescheduled vargas-salido to be the co-main

If nothing else, happy to see Curtis Stevens back in action.

It's a solid card. Nothing spectacular but these should all be competitive fights at least.

              Solid Card

This is a solid card. Not as good as the Cotto vs Canelo card unfortunately.

But still all 3 fights should be good. I think the only mismatch is the Lemieux vs Tapia fight. But still Tapia has that power.

I think the Herrera vs Gomez fight is good. Gomez has the stage to see what he's made of against one of the more underrated fighters out their.

Texieira vs Stevens should be also good. This has a chance to be Texieira's coming out party. Stevens is no push over and is a solid gatekeeper.

I wish Ortiz was on the undercard. He will probably be the co main event on the Vargas vs Salido card.

Action at the expense of competitiveness.

The fans asked for this though so at least they're getting what they asked for. You want knockouts and blood this card will deliver.

Gomez/Herrera is a good competitive fight though. Looking forward to that one.

Well Oscar always says he is about the best fighting the best....

So we get the best at ducking his mandatory to the best at begging for big fights without doing anything to deserve them.

The best at missing weight vs the best at getting robbed on score cards.

The best hair vs the best at getting KTFO.
