I wouldn't say good riddance but when you have a super star that brings money the divisions around it goes stagnant waiting for that phone call. Once Pac retires it will open up again and they will be better matches.

Were you relieved or sad when Mayweather retired?

I'm a bit sad he retired. I wanted to see if he could beat GGG, or at least last the distance. I'm sure Floyd dsaid he could beat him so that's what made me want too see it. If Floyd said he'd have no chance then nobody would push Floyd into doing something he couldn't do. That's like forcing yourself onto a woman who don't want itLast edited by hugh grant; 03-21-2016, 02:43 PM.

He took himself out of the game by "retiring" when Williams, Cotto, Wright and Margarito were major threats in the division, only to return later when the threats had died down and the landscape had changed.
if floyd's competition was cherry picked, just name ONE welterweight that won all of his fights the last ten years against tougher competition.
and if you can't, if floyd had the toughest undefeated run of any welterweight of the last ten years, why would you single him out for cherry picking when nobody else had success against tougher guys?

I think He doesn’t want to leave quietly...
Floyd, it’s hoped, will soon make his way to the podium, where he’ll be asked about his future career plans.
