I think it's another famous Garcia cherry pick. Garcia can easily beat either of them but so what? He is supposed to be a world champion and he should act like one. There must be at least a dozen welterweights Garcia could defend his title against who are better and more deserving of a title shot than Berto or Ortiz. The loser of the Thurman-Porter fight would be a much better fight for Garcia than Berto or Ortiz. Of course Garcia fighting the winner would be even better. Fighting the winner of Spence vs Algieri would also be better.Comment

thats not true. what about herrera and peterson? herrera was a cherry pick at the time because they didn't do their research and yea garcia lost that one. peterson also probably was about a draw in a fight above 140 to favor garcia so another cherry pick in a way. yea he is garbageComment

I don't think there is a fighter who continues to take the least appealing, yet notable fight or fights no one really wants to see like Danny Garcia does. There is a certain artistry in the Garcia camp with their drive towards mediocrity. Its like their goal is to not become too famous or too unimportant.
It'd be cool at some point if Garcia wanted to be the best guy at 147. I think he gots the talent to compete with the best guys there, win or lose.Comment
