Lederman ripping WLad as KO punch landed?

was it just me or was harold lederman about to start talking **** about wlad for holding right when he dropped byrd the 2nd time?? it sure sounded that way to me, he got cut off very quickly cause of the KD.... did anyone else hear this?? i remember lederman criticized wlad a couple times during the peter fight.

i thought it was obvious that wlad did almost all of his (pointless) holding in the first round or two. it seemed to just be a strategic thing that they were gonna tie byrd up as many times as the ref would allow early on and try to frustrate him. as the fight went on obviously it happened less and less to the point where i dont see why lederman would feel like bitching in the 7th round, if it bothered him he shouldnt said something by the 2nd or 3rd round.

there were a lot of times when wlad landed a good straight right on byrd trying to come in and after getting hit so hard byrd just falls into klitschkos body. in that situation its byrds fault for the hold. he was making no effort to throw punches but trying to stay away from any follow up by ducking into wlad when he got hit.

he has allways been a bit biased against wlad, like whan he gave a round to brewster cause brewster landed 1 lefthand i a round he was beaten badly.

****ing Lederman is a piece of **** and he should go die!!! I ****ing hate this weasel ****sucker. Not once do you ever hear this little wanker ***** about Ruiz's holding tactics or when Lewis used his clinching tactic to his benefit while fighting. This mother****er always complains about Wlad. It is so ****ing obvious that this ****sucking weasel ass ***** hates the brothers and his job is to call it down the middle. Every chance he gets he bitches only about the brothers no one else. I loved it when Lampley called his dumb ass out right when Klit was knocking Byrd down for good. Lampley called his bitching utter and complete nonsense.

Lederman comes from that NE US boxing scene, which is extremely biased against Klitschko.

He gave him hell against Peter, too. He's complained about it from Wlad more than he ever did against Ruiz, and the two aren't even comparable. Wlad holds only when the smaller fighter gets inside his jab on the inside, because he doesn't want to fight there- a tactic that Steward engineered. It's the same thing Lennox used to do, time and time again, and the same thing Ali used to do against Frazier and some others.

Lederman was way out of line complaining about it as Byrd was getting pummelled, though. LOL That was pretty funny and made him look like a complete tard.

Holding is illegal and should be dealt with by the referee. The problem is most referees don't enforce the rules. Having said that, the holding excuse is just that......an excuse.

Back in the old days boxers knew how to deal with opponents who are prone to hugging and kissing, Wladimir Klitschko did not invent it. All Chris Byrd had to do was time the uppercut. The only thing fast about Klitschko is his hand speed. All his other movements are slow and Byrd could easily have caught him with the uppercut if he had made an effort. Sam Peter does not have the talent to time an uppercut whereas Chris Byrd does. The fact that he failed to do so is a strong indication that he did not plan to win that fight.

Yeah because he was grabbing alot and I'm not sure why. But many of the clinches were clean instigated by both fighters. Byrd was just trying to play it like it was all Wlad's fault but comn we've all seen worse clinching than that. I think he was just a bit nervous but once he landed that knockdown the clinching ended because he realized he didn't have to.
