Is it a fair fight when both boxers are on PEDs?

I've been reading about how there are numerous ways to mask illegal substances, such as IV (saline + vitamins). Because it can't be detected would both fighters taking PEDs mean a fairer fight? Say if they took the same PEDs or does it affect each fighter differently?

There's no such thing as a fair fight. One guy is always going to have an advantage, whether it's just a small advantage of 1 thing or many advantages of things like being naturally more powerful, faster, better natural endurance, better training techniques, better game plan, better nutrition, natural ability to endure punishment, better PED's and many other factors. Maybe one guy is a more sound sleeper, a better sleeper, so he would be a guy who would recover better after a hard training session. Genetics are never fair either. AND most of all, every time a fighter fights he isn't the same fighter as he was in his last fight, whether he appears to be or not. Sometimes mental focus drifts as does our physical well being and emotional drive. Nobody is exactly the same from one moment to the next. Any fighter can be beaten and WILL be beaten if they fight enough. Nobody is anywhere near close to unbeatable.

But having said all that, sure, it's as fair as any other of the variables I mentioned if both fighters are on PEDS. At the same time, no it's never fair.

Yeah both guys on peds is not really fair cause one guy usually has access to better stuff. But it's a lot more fair than hiring someone to make sure your opponent is clean while you get a Tue to load up on drugs
