glad to hear, i've always loved gamboa. everyone complains about cubans being boring but gamboa is the direct opposite yet no one gives him credit or cares. i know that issue with rios took some shine off but in all honesty, if he was willing to move up to fight crawford then i can give him a pass for that situation with rios. crawford is a much tougher out and gamboa went out on his shield.

Gamboa was one of my faves a few years ago. A highly skilled Cuban who was actually fun to watch...and then he *****ed his way out of the Rios fight, cut ties with TR and had his ass handed to him by fiddy.

Now he is fighting just so he can stay relevant and not be forgotten. A sorry situation for a once world class fighter.

His fans would be glad some promotional company out of nowhere finally want to take him home and recognize his talents.

He left Arum just to be with his idol Mayweather, but Floyd with all his talk of hating snakes like Arum, never offered Gamboa anything.

You have to wonder how Gamboa survived with so few fights for years.

Gamboa gave Crawford a career and still is Crawford's biggest win.

I hope he fights in Miami for ****s sake. A fight with Linares will be awesome fight with speed, power and shaky chins

I always wanted to see Gamboa vs. Lomachenko. Still hope to see that fight at some point.

Gamboa used to be one of my favorite but the way his career been managed s*cked. Fighting Crawford was a big mistake. He had the skills to beat him but the size difference was ridiculous. Hell even at 140 Crawford looks wayyyy bigger than his opponent.

Gamboa is very very skilled. I like the guy

All good fights... I would also throw in fortuna.

Honestly, as a tuneup for gamboa, I would still like to see him tangle with juanma lopez
