    Canelo vs Pacman possible?

If Manny Pacquaio was to fail in his political endeavors, do you think he will not retire and look to fight a bit more? Considering the fact, that Bud Crawford and other possible foes, other than Amir Khan, don't have the star power to generate big PPV ratings. Since he is at the twilight of his career, you would think he would like to go out with the biggest paydays if he was to consider fighting after his rubber match with Tim Bradley this coming April.

If so, if he agreed to fight on, would it be possible he take a chance and face Saul Alvarez in a catch weight? After all, it would a nice pay day for him to take on Mexico's most popular fighter and he would get a chance to enhance his legacy. A loss to the red headed boy would not tarnish his legacy either; it would not take away his wins over the Golden Boy, Cotto, Bradley, Marquez, Barerra, Morales, etcetera. If anything, as the story of boxing goes, he's suppose to lose to the up and coming talent, and pass the torch. Take a last big pay day and catch a fade, and an ass whooping or defeat Canelo and ride into the sunset.

So with all things considered, do you actually it could be a possiblity we could see that fight in the near future?

But when this topic was brought up a couple of months ago.

All the fan boys on this site cried and said manny has no buisness fighting canelo.

Pacquiao will never fight over 150 lbs its just not happening. bradley is way more realistic but he has to beat Pacquiao first.

Sure, but not before Crawford vs Pacquiao & its arguable for Canelo/Oscar it might not be worth it for Canelo post a Crawford L (assuming Manny doesn't win). Think Arum would wanna give his own guy the beat Manny bump before he'd wanna give a non-house guy that potential bump.

There's a big chance Bradley isn't his last fight, but a Canelo fight isn't happening.
