People who DKSAB call it running, if you have never boxed you'll never understand it

See, this is what happens when you jump into grown folks' conversation. I never mentioned the Pacquiao fight in this thread. You say that yet after watching all of Floyd fights since 2010, you're whining about him not fighting any different than he always has since he's aged. Why torture yourself?
What intrigued you about this fight is you thought Pacquiao could impose his will on Floyd and make it an action packed fight but you were wrong. But instead of blaming Pac for not being as good as you thought, you're blaming Floyd for not handicapping himself to help Pac win some rounds to make it more of a back and forth battle.
"If slow as MAIDANA could land on Floyd, imagine what Pac will do"Comment

If I'm being honest, I haven't paid too much attention to Mayweather since he retired.
I did see the Broner shenanigans. I don't really have an opinion one way or another on that, though.Comment

I'm talking about his later fights, particularly his running, grabbing, holding & pot-shotting against Maidana. You're right though, he's retired. Not sure why he endures on this site. Maybe it's the mystique about him retiring undefeated & the su****ion of some that he'll return to break Marciano's record, despite his claims to the contrary.Comment

Fighting on the backfoot isn't evading. It's running, technically. Same as what people accuse Floyd of.
And the idea that Eubank never came forward? What?
He was right in the faces of Benn (ESPECIALLY), Watson, Collins, Calzaghe, Dos Santos...and no, he didn't look terrible. He just got caught with punches, sure. That's not looking terrible, that's called action. Which is what you said you wanted to see.
See, you people are jokes. You call Floyd a runner for not coming forward and actually boxing. Then you complain about fighters like Eubank coming forward and say he looks terrible when he's slugging in the trenches.
Make up your damn minds. You don't know what you want and you sure DKSAB.
SO what you're saying is, Ruben Guerrero was lying when at the end of the fight, he claimed "all he did was RUN! Like a chicken!!"?Nah, I just don't like to watch a fighter blatantly run, grab, hold and pot-shot for the entire fight. Believe it or not, I found that Mayweather's fight against Guerrero showcased his defensive & offensive skills well. He didn't run, he actually ducked and avoided the punches that were thrown when they were thrown. He said himself that he felt that he knew what punch Guerrero was going to throw before he threw them. That's fighting skill, not that shit he did against Maidana in their second fight. Maybe Maidana was just too relentless & tough to fight him any differently.

Running to pot shot just to score is amateur boxing.
Running to pot shot and to clinch when in trouble is vagina boxing.
It's just is.. Pro boxing is not just to score but to dish the hurt in the hurt game.
Enjoy! 70 power hugs in one night. Awesome.Comment

Ruben Guerrero is just some old Cholo who thinks he's a world class trainer, but in reality he DKSAB. Mayweather anticipated Robert's punches, and deftly avoided them at just the right moment. Against Maidana though, he got on his bicycle many times just to get away from him. He also grabbed him and held on for dear life, & put Chino in front-face head locks when he got in close. Big difference.Comment

You think Chris Eubank was a ****ing come-forward fighter, and you're accusing others of not know ****?
Seriously, take your f*ggy victim complex and go deflect somewhere else, *****bo. We're talking about ****ing Eubank and all you can think of is white knighting for Mayweather.Last edited by Ham Porter; 03-24-2016, 02:04 PM.Comment

You know, as far as that stuff goes, I just feel like if you don't like it, don't watch it. Say what you will, but it's impressive to me, to watch him completely nullify a persons offense. I mean even when he stands in front of you, stands in the pocket, on the ropes, etc. he makes you miss. People just bring up holding and pot shotting because they want to discredit his style, ignoring all the things he does great.I'm talking about his later fights, particularly his running, grabbing, holding & pot-shotting against Maidana. My thing is, if he's so basic and boring. Just a running, pot stotting, little nothing. Why's he so damn hard to beat?Comment
