Comments Thread For: It's More Than a Fight For Teddy Atlas

By Thomas Gerbasi - Teddy Atlas hasn't even been asked a question, but he's already started talking. He chuckles, but there's nothing light-hearted about the words that come out of his mouth as he discusses the April 9 rubber match between his fighter, Timothy Bradley, and Manny Pacquiao. "It's the way I get," he said. "It's part of the territory. I'm concerned, as always, about the responsibility I'm here for

The Atlas/Bradley pairing is the only interesting thing about this third fight for me.

Wow, if Tim loses this fight it looks like Atlas is going to take it harder than him

And this is why Tim is a lock to win, no way is Roach and Pac going to win, Bradley and Atlas are destined to win, its written in stone. They want it more and they are a great pairing that will not be denied. At this stage Bradley is more motivated.

Manny should shut the mouth of Teddy before Atlas shut Freddie.

Atlas = self-serving phony. Bradley's only chance is that Pac is shot because Atlas will have his mind all f-ed up like all his other fighters.

The dude's as honest as he can get, numbnuts. Wouldn't expect alot of fanboys to see it though. It requires a thing called maturity.

If you don't like him that's fine. But self serving? Phony? Grow up a little.

My only beef with the guy was the whole steroid, email thing. I agree he should have kept his mouth shut on that one. But even on that one, what self serving interests did he have to gain on that?

I think Bradley will take this one without the assistance of a controversial decision. Pac just seems like his day has come and gone. Not sure if his heart is still in it or if he has the hunger to train to the level he needs to anymore.

Manny has become a polarizing figure given his holier than thou attitude and post FMJ complaints. If Tim can pull this off I only hope Pac exhibits the grace to walk away.

Seen the wall of text assumingly quotes from Teddy Atlas, I really can't stand this guy he just rabbles on and on and on he loves the sound of his own voice he really just talks utter garbage 75% of the time.
