Comments Thread For: Nacho Hopes Juan Manuel Marquez Retires, Avoids Risky Return

If Marquez returns, it's likely to be Sergio Martinez all over again unless he has a stationary stiff in front of him.

Marquez is waiting until Memo finishes cooking up the new formula to roid up knees which not only heals them and makes them feel like those of a 14 year old, but also increases flexibility by 200% allowing you to bend them forward and increases jumping by 400% which allows you to jump up to 5 feet. Soon Marquez will return but have patience.

Marquez is not professional, i didnt like the way he acted after finally beating pacquio but in the ring yes he is a professional boxer.
I dont want to see him fight again and hear his crap / excuses.

If marquez was smart he would come back to fight vargas for the welterweight title and then retire..thats a winnable fight for him and gets him what he's wanted all along.

I agree with Nacho, Marquez needs to call it a day already.

Juan is one of my favorite fighters ever, but he had little movement when his legs actually worked. As an older guy with bad legs and slower reflexes he is a sitting duck for any top level guy. Id hate to see him take a beating from a guy like Cotto which he seems hell bent on doing.
