  • Comments Thread For: Sanchez: This is Not Super 6 Andre Ward, This One is Easier

Respected trainer Abel Sanchez believes Andre Ward has passed his prime ahead of next Saturday's fight against Sullivan Barrera.

Sanchez, who trains Barrera, was speaking to FightHubTV: "I think 5 years ago when he won the Super Six that's the Ward we have to worry about. This Ward is a little easier though still a difficult fight."

This Andre Ward is more than enough to school Barrera and GGG

Like I said on the other thread, Sanchez seems to be relying on Ward being small, faded, and injured.

It is possible that none of those things will happen.

I suspect that Barrera will need a lot more than that, I hope you've done your homework Sanchez.

Sanchez could end up looking a little ****** here.

Like Robert Garcia did after the 2nd Alvarado fight, when his "just do the same thing, Alvarado wont change" game-plan fell to bits. He actually said that LMAO

He might've slowed down a bit due to missing some years of his prime, but one thing he hasn't done is take a beating or flush shots. That'll serve him well at 175 if he ends up facing punchers like Kovalev, Stevenson and Beterbiev.

Ward didn't look too good against Smith.

If Ward didn't look good against Smith, then how good Smith did actually look?
