good matchmaking: Valdez vs Gradovich (Gradovich is a straight up-and-down, come forward scrapper, who still has enough name profile to add to a young fighter's resume; if Valdez is good enough, he wins rather easy)

bad matchmaking: putting a young prospect in with Darnell Boone (23-23-4[12 KOs]) when you have doubts about your kid being ready for that work (Boone is rugged enough to give anyone 154-175 utter hell if they're not about that life)
