1. Most boxers have debatable wins. It all falls on what the particular judges like.

2. He got a little annoying going on and on about Bradley but look, he was robbed of a crucial ten seconds. He deserved those ten seconds.

3. Both Bradley and Ali fights were from overhand rights that were perfect, flush and on the chin. It's not the power as much as perfectly placed, unexpected and with technique.

Like I said to, Stax. A combination of the three, I just can't look past. As for the comments on him possibly juicing and his power. Juice does'nt magicly turn you into a big puncher. A light hitter is still going to be a light hitter even if he is juicing. It does'nt make you the second coming of Julian Jackson. He is'nt suspect because he caught a couple guys with good punches, he is suspect for simply working with Memo.

On a serious note Danny just gave an interview on Fighthype this week, and Vargas was one of the guys he was interested in fighting.

yes,hes attitued after the bradley fight was kinda annoying but if a man feels cheated there aint nothing that will stop him from expresing his views,but otherwise what has vargas done to be hated so much???

1)Jessie Vargas was Floyd Mayweather's first promotional fighter to almost break through, getting him that heat [Floyd was able to get Vargas to 18-0 and onto the cusp of something before Vargas moved on]

2)Jessie Vargas chose to then sign on with Top Rank [no different than Tim Bradley Jr jumping to Top Rank for the Pacquiao fight and a higher minimums deal]

3)Jessie Vargas has a penchant to be in close fights where he always gets the benefit of the doubt [his last three fights with Mayweather were all close, with things staying about that with his Top Rank fights]

4)Jessie Vargas, until the last round of the Bradley fight and in the Ali fight, never showed the penchant to hurt anything with his punches, let alone stop a guy.

a perfect storm for criticism, tbh, regardless of what could actually be said of his boxing ability.

If what you are referring is Vargas was hated because he was with Mayweather than I think you are wrong there, Vargas barely got any attention until the Bradley fight. He was always a fighter that as lacking something. Most people thought it was combination throwing but it looks like he just needed better foot placement and to sit down on his punches more.

But anyways man, styles make fights, if you havenet noticed, the way you beat Garcia is throwing punches down the middle (Garcia cant slip jabs) which happens to be Vargas' best punches.
