Comments Thread For: Crolla: Once I'm Through Barroso, Flanagan at The Top of My List

ANTHONY CROLLA believes it would have been morally wrong to give up his WBA lightweight title for a clash with local rival Terry Flanagan.

The Manchester man puts his WBA strap on the line against Ismael Barroso on May 7.

i'd honestly root for crolla in this one, bc hearns is more likely to do business with haymon who will have the 2 other champions in barthelemy and zlattican.
flanagan seems to be the much better fighter at this point imo even though his last showing was pretty meek.

but honestly crolla isnt getting past BArroso...BArroso has killed the hopes of the british fans once and i think he is going to do it again.
i dont know who he signed with can someone fill me in on that

      135 is kinda hot imo..
      1. rances barthelemy is in
      2. linares has given up his belt due to duck a bad man in zlattican
      3. barroso is about to be a champion
      4. barroso is a monster and has some pretty fast hands
      5. shafikov, bey, commey, vasquez, bogere, and medez are not easy fights at all and they arent even belt holders
      6. the cuban is Abril is returing!
      7. hbo doenst really have a dog in the race unless they hurry and push the PR prospect verdejo who doesnt seem to be ready, and that keeps political lines friendly
      8. this is a division that could actually have a unified champ and none of them have pulled diva money crap bc none of them are big draws

I LOVE THIS ****! REAL BOXING FAN HERE..I'LL ACCEPT ALL THE GREEN K YOU MF'S GOT! LOL

I wish Crolla would forget about Flanagan altogether. Focus. If he loses to Barosso, the Flanagan fight won't sell. If he beats Barosso, IF.. he has nothing to fear from anybody. A world of possibility opens up, names and money and places. He'll be feared, as a champion should be. His desire to face Flanagan is a lack of fear, Flanagan has failed to impress, forget that domestic dust up.
