Pro Boxing & MMA On The Same Card - A Future Worth Embracing?

Imagine pro Boxing and MMA bouts featured on the same card, same ring, on the same night. The fights would be alternated, one pro boxing bout, one MMA bout, and back to boxing. Maybe there'd be 8 fights in total, 4 boxing, 4 MMA, or whatever the number and distribution might be. A night of mixed combat sports where boxing and MMA fights unfold in the same ring.

Would you be interested in seeing it, is it a future of combat sports worth embracing, perhaps even inevitable? Or do you prefer to keep the combat sports completely separate at all times?

Its happens like the first guy said. I can't see it becoming high level mainstream cuz it'd be like having a basketball game & a baseball game back to back. They are different sports & there is a smaller niche audience that likes both of them. Plus most high level MMA goes on in a ring thats not like a boxing ring so you'd need two different rings of combat which just seems like a hassle for event organizers & to setup in the arena to not f#ck up the seating.

No thanks. Glory tried the same thing with kickboxing and mma on the same night and it just didn't work out.

          I prefer them separately
