Yea nd those guys had good fights but have had some lackluster fights in between. And just because a fight ended up being good doesn't mean that's the fight that should've happened.

And I've called out all those guys for bad fights. You're the only one acting like this is HBO vs PBC. I never gave HBO guys a free pass by any means.

If you know how to read, I said that while HBO has had a lot of mismatches recently, it's still at a better rate than Haymon fights. I'm not holding Haymon to a higher level than HBO. I said they are BELOW HBO. If they were putting up the same rate and HBO, then I treat both of them the same. But if I think HBO is putting only 20% good fights and PBC only putting up 15% good fights (or vice versa), I'm going to criticize the network that puts up the lower % rate relative to how much fights they have, whether it's HBO or PBC. It's pretty simple.

no u're complaining about one model right now that is winning in quantity and quality..

not every fight is going to be a great fight..if u are not over that by now u would have never been a boxing fan at any age in time..all eras have had mediocre fights..it wont change

but even to start this year off haymon is once again in the driver seat...bc he is producing quality and quantity

            Rafael latest:

            http://espn.go.com/blog/dan-rafael/p...rawford-postol

Arum said the Crawford-Postol fight is close to being made.

“We’re discussing it with both of them and trying to get the numbers right,” Arum said. “Negotiations are going on and we’re getting very close.”

Arum said one of the conditions Postol asked for was that the fight not be in Omaha, Nebraska, Crawford’s hometown. Arum said agreeing to that was no problem.

Arum said the undercard of the pay-per-view would include at least one other world title fight, perhaps Gilberto Ramirez (33-0, 24 KOs) in his first defense should he win a super middleweight belt from Arthur Abraham (44-4, 29 KOs) on the Pacquiao-Bradley III undercard or newly crowned welterweight titleholder Jessie Vargas (27-1, 10 KOs) in his first defense since winning the vacant belt by ninth-round knockout against Sadam Ali on March 5.

Jesus you are all over the place.

I realize that not every fight will be great. That doesn't mean I can't criticize all promoter/network for putting up bad fights, and I'm obviously going to criticize the network/promoter who puts up a lower success rate.

I was hoping for Crawford-Postol and Lomachenko-Walters, plus at least 1 other title fight, but Arum is far too greedy for that to ever go down even though he could easily make it happen if he wanted.
