    Derry Mathews is confident that he will get another shot at a major belt in the sport, despite suffering defeat last weekend.

    The Liverpool lightweight was on the end of a reverse for the 10th time in his paid career on Saturday (March 12) when he challenged WBO world champion Terry Flanagan (30-0, 12 KOs).

    Good on you, Derry. Didn't disgrace yourself in that fight, won some rounds and made it competitive. There were quite a few close rounds. Still a good level fighter and lightweight is buzzing, so why retire? A rematch with Coyle would be decent, or a fight with Ormond, Burns, Luke Campbell, O'Hara Davies, Richard Commey, Zlaticanin, Burns, Crolla, Linares... Absolutely tons of fights out there.
