I am more interested in him now he has stepped up. 168 was completely done for him. Will be interesting to see he can do all the messy things he does with what should be stronger guys.
Froch was supposed to be stronger, so was Allan Green, Kessler too

Boxing is more than strength and power. Skills pay the bills.

Strength and power means little when you arent landing anything significant...cant tell that to casuals though

His physical strength is a big part of why he is able to cling onto his opponents like a limpet sticks to a rock, imo.

There is a time to over-intellectualise boxing but I am pretty certain Kessler, Froch et al. would have liked to have been able to shake him off and punch him in the head.

He is brilliant yes. But there are times when he is spoiling. No other words for it really.

So i'll just keep things as simple as possible....

how did you catch all the clinches but missed the part when he outlanded them and got hit less.....you do know boxing is hit and not get hit

He mustve beat a fighter you were big on? They teach you in the amatuers how to get out of a clinch.

          Losers make excuses.

anybody can complain....its the fighters responsibilty to protect themselves at all times and counter whatever the other guy is doing. whether it be low blows, clinching, etc

Losers make excuses. He kept fighting and won

Im a fan of winners. He has proven himself and the guy has a lot of skills. I like to watch his tutorial type videos....he is like a young b hop with much more athleticism

I got nothing but respect for him, he is a student of the game and he works hard and stays humble.

Plus dude hasnt lost a fight since he was in middle school
