Burns (39-5-1, 14 KOs) is set to be pitted against Italian veteran Michele Di Rocco (40-1-1, 18 KOs), with the pair contesting the vacant WBA super lightweight crown, on May 28 at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland as part of a show called History In The Making'.

#1 example of the importance of having the right people behind you, and the meaninglessness of title belts. Zlaticanin beats Burns two years ago and is still waiting for a title shot. Burns has won three of his last seven, hasn't beaten anyone of note in years, and gets to fight at home for an alphabet belt vs a light-punching opponent ranked below him by boxrec.

burns will have to force the pace, if he stands off like daws did he'll probably lose, he'll need to make the fight.
