Seeing how LSC is bigger and better in every way than La Cobrita, I don't blame Carl for looking to get any advantage. A pier in Belfast is Frampton's dream arena, but all he saw of the US was Texas. No disrespect, Texas is the back woods. More lights, and money in Vegas, NY, even Los Angeles. Belfast isn't a draw, even if Carl is.

I think he wants LSC but not in Dublin. Frampton's promoter has openly discussed enhancing Frampton's profile in the US so my gues is if this fight is made its in either Vegas or STubHub center in Carson.

That makes sense. Stub hub though is where LSC is comfortable. LV is more neutral or poss New York for some Irish and Mex support.
