How many times have you actually seen Spence or Brook fight. I can't imagine that you've seen them each fight a few times and you think that. Brook is a legit top 5 welterweight. Spence is one of the top young fighters in boxing

Correct me if I'm wrong, Keith Thurman won the WBA Regular/Interim Title (one of them but it wasn't the "Real World title, cause Mayweather held that one) So when Floyd retired, they made him "real WBA Champion? Not kool...back in the days he would've been #1 contender who would have to fight #2 contender that is Porter. If this was back in the days he would still not be considered World Champion until he beats Porter...correct me if I'm wrong...

The situation you described above is exactly the same as the current situation with Golovkin, and yet people are counting those "interim" wins as official title defences.

It's pretty fkn lame all round, the WBA hand out "titles" like a lolly-scramble.

Thurman has done little-to-nothing, and is way over-hyped imho.

The only reason Thurman has spoken about him is because this kid was running his mouth about Keith without actually doing something. This fight is his first step up so I'm glad we finally see him fi by t stiffer guys.
