If I come back, I'll take some time to get myself good.

I was offered some fights, but I'm relaxed and I don't want to risk without the motivation. If I came back, I'd take five months at least, to get prepared physically. I saw the pic that is around now everywhere, but I don't care what they say because I'm enjoying this moment.
    That's all my folks.

A few days ago, a recent photo of Marcos Maidana (35-5, 31KOs) was being circulated in the Argentinean press. The physical state of the former two division world champion raised some concern with many of his loyal fans.

I Like Maidana, But Game Over... Lost His Edge, His Momentum

No matter how much time he takes off, no matter how much time he takes to get in shape, it's not happening. 1) not at the level he reached for two Floyd fights, 2) he's obviously not hungry after the two Paydays he got with Floyd (quite honestly he hasn't missed a meal either), and 3) he's not coming back at all unless it's one of those Erik Morales-type farewell fight against some guy driving a food truck. He made more money than he knows what to do with, now enjoying a life with his family he never had. Good for him.

I agree with TLC. I don't ever see him coming back.
