Comments Thread For: Arum: Khan in Too Deep With Canelo, He Should've Picked Brook

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum gives Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) little to no chance of beating the much bigger Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (46-1-1, 32KOs).

Khans got no chance against nelo. So when khan beats nelo, khan will be p4p no1

I'm not sure of the money involved in each of these fights, but if we are talking about just having a better chance of winning for sure Brook was the better option. With the likely differences in money & the reality that he can get beat up by Canelo & still fight Brook vs the less likely situation that he could've gotten beaten up by Brook & still fought Canelo + the upside for Khan if he beat either guy I think Canelo is the superior choice.

Khan does'nt have a chance with neither. he can't win the big ones and he can't take a punch. he was getting walked down by Algieri and won that fight looking like a amateur. this garbage won't sell.

Good points but who here believes that Bob wouldve made KhanBrook? Gtfoh we wouldve been on the 4th installment of KhanAlgieri by now after Algieri had KOd Khan in rematch and the rubber match Lol

what puzzles me about Bob with his endless rematches and inhouse fights is why tf he wont make CrawfordPostal? He doesnt want his very own fighter to upset the applecart in Crawford is the only greedy logical explanation.

You cant possibly be a real boxing fan cuz anyone with half a brain would tell you Canelo is crushing khan.

Bob is wrong. Once Khan loses to Canelo the Danny Garcia, Kell Brook and other fights are still there for him at 147. The WBC has already said win or lose Khan will be Garcia's mandatory.
No lose situation for Khan. In the unlikely event he wins he cashes out and maybe brings Mayweather out of retirement for a mega payday for his 160 title.
He loses all the fights he wanted before are still there for him and he has a career payday, reported as a guaranteed $8 million, in his pocket.

That's easy for you to say, but Khan is actually a frail guy. I think this fight is his blazing exit, his ultimate sacrifice, taking it for the team. what ever is left will be easy work for the pack.
