Bernstein says "only one that can touch Floyd is Crawford"

Khan doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell against Mayweather, even though he is 10 years younger than Mayweather. Khan can't beat any of the top five guys at welterweight, none of whom are as good as Mayweather, and will get KO'd in May against the guy that Mayweather schooled for 12 rounds.Khan is the only one who would have beaten Floyd at this point in his career and I think it would have been a clear cut win. Crawford hasn't even had a fight at 147 yet. He's been fighting much smaller guys so far. He's definitely got skills but nearly every talented fighter looks deceptively good when they fight smaller guys. Look at Manny for example, he hasn't had a single knockout at the full 147 limit but at 140, or below, the majority of his fights were KO wins. Mcgregor, the UFC guy, is another recent example. He was fighting smaller men, looking like a beast but he stepped up in weight and got beat in 2 rounds.
My point is, it's way too soon to tell how good Crawford might be at 147 until he actually fights at the weight for a year or so against decent opposition.Comment

He says Manny stayed away from Crawford to take someone with less problems and Crawford might tickle Floyd who is from another Galaxy .
Its no wonder JMM has never ever ever wanted a rematch with Floyd , that speaks volumes and Nachos words here says why they never wanted a rematch .Comment

Different people have different opinions. It was Pacquiao, it was actually at one point Canelo, it's Golovkin, it's Crawford. Different people, different opinions. You have to respect a guy like Bernstein but I disagree. In my opinion it's basically a guy who is much bigger, legit bigger, not Canelo rehydrating to 170 big, that's not big. I mean a MW like GGG, who comes in at 160 and can't make 154-155, and rehydrates to 170-173. That type of big. 5'10, strong MW with 300+ amateur fights, that's who beats Floyd but that is an unfair fight too. So I will agree with Max Kellerman on who could beat Floyd.Comment

Or that he talked Marquez out of it.He says Manny stayed away from Crawford to take someone with less problems and Crawford might tickle Floyd who is from another Galaxy .

If I were JMM I wouldn't have pushed for that rematch either, Floyd Mayweather is a stylistic nightmare for a counterpuncher like JMM cuz he doesn't give u a chance to counter, combine that with speed, reflexes, length and enough power to hurt Marquez, there's absolutely noway possible for JMM to win and JMM had enough dignity to realize that and didn't wanna get a meaningless payday. He says Manny stayed away from Crawford to take someone with less problems and Crawford might tickle Floyd who is from another Galaxy .

Khan is 5'8 1/2 ...he is not tall even for a Welterweight...I could easily cut to 147 at 5"11 1/2 ...Khan is the only one who would have beaten Floyd at this point in his career and I think it would have been a clear cut win. Crawford hasn't even had a fight at 147 yet. He's been fighting much smaller guys so far. Yes we know how weights work...It's why your boy Khan has avoided punchers at 147..The little dance Algeri made him do at the end of round one put the fear of Allah in him

Just a point to what you said as it relates to pure boxing skills.. I think if Marquez had the speed, length advantages over Floyd that Floyd wouldn't last 5 rounds with him ... Not a slight on Floyd I just think Marquez is that skilled. If I were JMM I wouldn't have pushed for that rematch either, Floyd Mayweather is a stylistic nightmare for a counterpuncher like JMM cuz he doesn't give u a chance to counter, combine that with speed, reflexes, length and enough power to hurt Marquez, there's absolutely noway possible for JMM to win and JMM had enough dignity to realize that and didn't wanna get a meaningless payday.Comment
