Somehow I got even more respect for Byrd.
Wlad looked like he is going for a kill.
Byrd showed a lot of heart.
Hope he is allright.

I don't know Byrd looked psyched up for that fight more than he has for any of his fights lately.

....I believe that to be the case, and I believe he brought his A game. It just wasn't enough against a guy who would beat him 100 out of 100 times.

I kinda felt bad for him, he took a real beating in the fifth. I've never been a Byrd fan but he's always been a pretty likable guy. At one point in the fifth. I was hoping the ref would show some mercy and stop the fight .

Are you kidding? Half the people who all of a sudden jumped on Wlad's bandwagon tonight would be screaming that the fight was stopped too early and Byrd would have won after Wlad ran out of gas. badblood already said that, too

Can someone post a picture of Chris when he turned around and we saw his face all bloody from the cut? Thanks in advance. Also I would like to say that Chris looked really bad. Wlad just fired at will and totally dominated this fight.

I actually felt bad for Byrd and for him to a interview after the fight, is pure class.
