i would be surprised to see a rahman/klitschko match.
why? because don king won't let klitschko anywhere near hasim. best to listen to me when i say wladimir klitschko is picking up steam and getting back into the mix - big time. i don't see any heavyweight out there that has a better jab, hook, or straight right. and against byrd, he has shown that he is now comfortable throwing uppercuts and shovel-hooks(aka upperhooks) and launched a couple of thunderous overhands. wk's offensive prowess rivals that of the best offensively skilled heavyweights from any era. now, his defence is getting some upgrading as well. notice the way he would get in close and suddenly angle himslef off to the side poised to strike. also loved the phonebooth fighting he did when byrd was in trouble. sharp, explosive, and accurate punching.
as i see it, wladimir is ready for anyone at anytime, and i'd say it's only a matter of who wants to sign on the dotted line.
if the other beltholders don't want none, it seems like he possibly has a good fight set up with calvin brock(ranked in the top 5 in 3 divisions and in the top ten in the wbo).
remember, if anyone is trying to keep the titles apart, it's don king. look at rahman - a fight with toney, a fight with maskaev, and another fight with toney. doesn't seem like they have plans for a unification anytime soon.
valuev has stated that he would prefer to fight klitschko as he feels klitschko is the best - and rightfully so. but, don king has at least some options over who he fights.
now onto liakhovich. the guy wins one great fight and all of a sudden there is a ton of people who think that he is truly a top tier heavy. one good win(and a great fight as well) don't make him an established top fiver - but for the time being, yes. let's give sergei a couple more fights(or a few more depending on his comp) before some of you get all nuts about him. okay?
