If anyone says that the Chris Byrd who just fought Wlad looked the same as the Byrd that made his career or was in the first fight is a moron.
He had almost zero movement, no dipping, no head movement, no footwork. He just stood there, planted himself in front of Wlad and got the piss punched out of him.
Bottom line is- Wlad beat the younger, better Chris Byrd, and now he beat the older, lesser Chris Byrd.
= plain and simple point dot . he beats chis byrd today and tomorrow as he did yesterday
Chris Bryd looked like he threw the fight, I think he just wanted to get stoped on his feet, but they wouldnt let it. In the interview, him and his family were too happy, and egar to tell how Wald was so much powerful and ****, sounded like ass kissing. Either way Wald is the new top Heaveyweight.

Byrd's performance wadn't that bad but he had too many things going against him:
(1) Wladdy was a little better at fighting on the outside than he was in their 1st fight. His right hand looked quicker and stronger.
(2) Wladdy clinched a bit on the inside, enough so that Byrd had little chance of doing anything in close. I counted the clinches that were clearly initiated by Wladdy:
round 1 : 1 or 2, insignificant
round 2 : 7 (too many, should have been warned)
round 3 : 7 (too many; referee not doing his job well enough)
round 4 : 3 or 4, not enough to make a difference
round 5 : didn't see a clinch
round 6 : didn't see a clinch
round 7 : didn't see any
You can see that Wladdy was dominating Byrd so much from round 5 onward that he didn't even need to tie Byrd up.
(3) Byrd has the wrong style to deal with Wladdy, even if he doesn't clinch on the inside. You have to be able to knock a man out with 1 punch to have a chance against Wladdy, especially now that he has Emanuel "clinch inside" Steward as his trainer.
After a very poor performance against Williamson, Byrd surprises us all again by performing even worse. Is it old age, is he afraid of giant sized Ukrainians or is he getting sick of boxing? It ain't heart when you just stand in front of an opponent and let him hit you, it is just plain ******. He didn't let McCline hit him, and he could have frustrated Klitschko as well. Those of you who want to blame the size difference, think again. This fight had nothing to do with size, and everything to do with abandoning commonsence.
i couldnt beleive there's more thread criticizing the winner of a big fight than this or is it eveybody hates ukaranians
