After he beat Floyd the first fight and was robbed by the judges and then fought a rematch where the referee basically let Floyd just hit and run and interfered any time Maidana got within an inch because Floyd did the typical crybaby victim move of complaining to the media...
I don't blame Maidana for retiring from boxing, but being a fat fk is just really taking it overboard...
The sad part is he'll be broke soon, and fighting in a division way above where he should be fighting and probably suffer a lot of long-term injuries.

Argentina is one of the fattest countries in the world. I think 30-35% of all adults are obese. Maidana is just being himself living an Argentinian lifestyle.

Your body is preconditioned to gain weight, not lose it. If you're eating and drinking anything but water, you will gain. How much is up to your body and your metabolism.
If you're stationary you're not burning fast enough.
If you choose to change up diets and stop being stationary, you will lose weight. How fast is up to your body and your metabolism.
It's not hard. I speak as a person who got up to 197 and is currently sitting at 170 - which was my target weight. But I used to walk around at 160 at one point when I was doing track.
Chino could lose weight easy if he wanted. But he doesn't want to and I don't blame him if he's comfortable.

Does he have a fight scheduled or some ****? Why does it matter? Chino clearly has no intentions of fighting again and is enjoying the retired life as a hero in Argentina. He's had a great career and made it much, MUCH further than he was ever supposed to.
