Earlier today in an article written by BoxingScene's Jake Donovan, it was revealed that former WBO super lightweight champion Ruslan "Siberian Rocky" Provodnikov ;25-4) was moving to Showtime. His first bout on the premium channel will take place on June 11th at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. His opponent will be the hard hitting John Molina Jr (28-6).

HBO tried you, and you failed to deliver. It was one embarrassing loss after another. You started becoming a stepping stone right before our very eyes, sorry it had to end that way....

Good luck. I see they gave you Molina Jr. to make you look like "your old self" again. But the old you was getting to crafty boxers like Herrera and Bradley.

This is basically, my divorce letter to Provodnikov.

which of his losses were embarrassing?

they were all pretty competitive, razor thin even. He had both Bradley and Algieri doing backflips across the ring.

the most one sided was matthysse but that's not really an embarrassing guy to lose to and he still got hit a lot

provo just is what he is, great puncher with major mobility problems

          LMAO

It may not be an easy night for him either.

Molina is tough, and he can punch..... and Provo is " available ".

Don't agree here. Algieri lost. Bradley was nearly knocked out and said he would never, ever fight Provodnikov again. Matthysse was a close fight and he was never the same afterwards.

Poor ruslan.sounds as dumb as Paulie when haymon was feeding him to Danny n Porter. At the end of the showtime deal,he'll be brain dead with his promoter taking all his money

Do you even watch boxing? Provodnikov's losses are all razor thin decisions.

Damn. That quote kinda made me feel sorry for him. I remember the look on his face when he beat Alvarado. Haven't seen a fighter that excited about winning a title since Ishe beat K9.
