How is Lemieux a hype job?? Unlike MOST American middleweights, at least this guy has the BALLS to fight GGG. I do not see any US hype jobs like Jacobs or Quillen signing up so quickly, [ nor do I notice too many PR's or Mexicans] . The fact that he put up his IBF title vs GGG so quickly after winning it speaks volumes about Lemieux's desire and more then makes up for avenging a loss vs an irrelevant 35 year old Rubio.

Hopefully they can work it out with De La Rosa. If not put Lemieux on the undercard of Khan vs Canelo and have him fight a meaningful fight. Not to say De La Rosa isn't because he's a quality fighter but Lemieux is a Top 10 Middleweight that has room to improve.

Hopefully his return happens tomorrow if not he will fight In May.

I would like him to face Andy Lee or Tureano Johnson.

That's the problem - on this evidence he isn't! 5lbs over the limit?

Oscar must be pulling his hair out as I'm sure he wanted to build a Lemieux-Canelo fight down the line. There is no way Lemieux ever makes 155 except as a fighting scarecrow.

There's no excuse on why Lemieux should have been 5 lbs over. The guy should have been putting that work in to get back on that long road for another title opportunity.

Oscar probably is pulling his hair out and Bernard even though he has none left because yet another one of their fighters failed to make weight.

Oscar and Bernard both know deep down that they rushed David into fighting GGG WAY TOO SOON and they both know they have to reboot his career.

Oscar and Golden Boy are invested heavily in Lemieux not only because he's very talented but also he's popular and buts butts in seats.

Again hopefully this fight happens but either way Lemieux has a long road ahead of him to get back to the top.
