Looks like Santa Cruz vs Frampton is on...Who you got?

Santa Cruz throws a lot of punches. Quigg threw 10 punches per round and still looked as if he might KO Framption in the last half of their fight. Santa Cruz will win this fight easily. It looks like this fight is on late summer according to reports. This is a great fight - leaning 60-40 towards Santa Cruz but this is guaranteed excitement and high contact. Two of my fav current fighters to watch.
I personally think Frampton will be better and more dangerous than Mares at 126. He is a better puncher and smarter, Mares is one of those fighters with loads of talent, probably more natural talent than Frampton, but doesn't have a clue how to use it (maybe harsh), doesn't have a great boxing brain to me. Plus he hadn't seemed to have recovered from his knockout loss, although he looked back against Santa Cruz somewhat even in defeat.
I expect Santa Cruz to bring it, and I give him the edge with his length and activity proving the difference, but Frampton doesn't strike me as the type of guy to roll over.Comment

Quigg has one punch knock out power while Santa Cruz Literally needs to be able to land 100 punches around to hurt people.
The simple fact is if Quigg has opened up Carl would have knocked him out and Carl wasn't taking a chance against that kinda puncher.Comment

To be honest I think you guys are both wrong. Your opinions are too extreme, I think Quigg looking like he might KO Frampton is an overstatement and the commentators were getting over excited in the 11th. Quigg was having success but Frampton was firing back and Quigg was just getting the better of it, that is all. Frampton looked a little tired, but never hurt, not once, in fact he took quite a few flush power shots from Quigg and never looked hurt throughout the fight.
On the other side I think Quigg is definitely a bigger puncher than Leo - but Santa Cruz is not a light hitter so you are wrong as well. Santa Cruz has good power and can hit pretty well. He isn't a explosive guy, he is a volume puncher who can wear you out, but within that style he does carry pop, you can tell when you watch him and his record also says that.Comment

Is it me or does Leo get hurt by a right hand left hook by Kiko? Go to approx 1:45 in the video, it looks like Kiko wobbled Santa Cruz's legs with the right hand and then the left hook even though it was a bit inside of the glove it legitimately put him over. Ref got that wrong.

I have leo, a few close rounds than leo begins to overwhelm him.
If Leo is smart, he will not have to walk through framptons punches. Control distance and work rate in the center of the ring, except when frampton touches ropes. Don't over committ, not an easy fight, but not really hard.Comment

Leo just went balls to the wall for the sake of the fans against Kiko. And yes he did get clipped many times. I don't think he was ever in danger though.
He wont be that reckless against Frampton that's for sure.Comment
