Comments Thread For: Roach: Pacquiao's Nuclear Assault Will Blast 'Firemen' Bradley/Atlas

LOS ANGELES -- Fighter of the Decade MANNY "Pacman" PACQUIAO and his Hall of Fame Trainer World-Famous FREDDIE ROACH will soon break camp in General Santos City in the Philippines and head to the U.S. On Monday, at Roach's Hollywood-based Wild Card Boxing Club, they will begin phase two of training for their sole mission -- demolishing two-division world champion TIMOTHY "Desert Storm" BRADLEY JR. Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38 KOs) and Bradley (33-1-1, 13 KOs) are 29 days away from their date with destiny -- their 12-round welterweight battle for pound for pound supremacy.

Each punch will feel like a nuke on the glass jaw of Bradley.

Lol, I can picture Roach & company, brainstorming to find a counter phrase for Atlas' "We are firemen!" bit. Sounds like Freddie took something from "Pulp Fiction".

This is confusing. Pacquaio is fighting? Doesn't he know he severely injured his shoulder 10 months ago and he won't be able to do any physical activity at all with it until at least 8-10 months? His arm almost fell off, his camp assured me the the earliest he could fight would be the Fall of 2016. They wouldn't lie about his injury would they?

Here we go again with Roach talking about what Pacman is gonna do to his opponent! Please stop Roach! Your mouth is getting worst than Teddy's mouth. Its obvious Roach has some deep hate against Teddy! Lets see, Roach claimed Manny would DESTROY Bradley in the 1st two meetings! (DIDN'T HAPPEN)! Roach claimed Manny would knock out Marquez!(DIDN'T HAPPEN)! Roach claimed Manny would beat Floyd!(DIDN'T HAPPEN)! War Bradley!

While I will miss Roach's rhetoric whenever a Pacquiao fight was brewing, you can't help but feel, it's halo words at this point. Pac might as well be an old man in there at this point of his career with the style he used to have in his younger days. It's not as easy to do at his age, and I can't see him doing anything different than his past fights with Bradley, both of which I thought he won. Will he win more impressively? Doubt it. If anything, this is a more even fight than ever before.

The only problem is that the Atlas/Bradley theme this time isn't firemen, it's log on the ocean.

If you fire a nuclear warhead into an ocean that has a log on it, the log isn't going to be destroyed. It'll bob under for a bit, go up for a bit, but go right back to what it was doing.

Which makes me think that Atlas' theory is about sticking to the plan instead of switching up, which I argue is why Bradley lost the second fight.
