(all headline bouts in the works for spring/early summer)

with the Showtime schedule now filled in, the rest of the viable fights go into the PBC fold (underneath the marquee bouts, PBC can simply fill the rest of the schedule in with solid tough fights).
You have no clue if one or any of those fights will end up on PBC. Jacobs last fight was supposed to be a PBC fight as well. But it ended up being pushed to Showtime. We have seen over the last 6 months numerous fights that were leaked as PBC only to go straight to Showtime or get delayed for months and months then moved to Showtime. Based on what is going on with PBC it's foolish to guarantee any fight on PBC. Even the PBC networks don't know when they are getting fights. See ESPN who were pushed back 3 different times because PBC has no fights to give them. Money is getting thin and they literally can not afford to put out fights on networks where they ALREADY prepaid for the airtime.

... Thurman-Porter is still tentatively booked for a June date on CBS in primetime, presented as 'Showtime Championship Boxing on CBS' but likely counting as one of the ten primetime NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX dates that were already discussed for PBC.

          Garcia vs Guerrero [FOX]
          Spence vs Algieri [NBC]
          Thurman vs Porter [CBS]

with the rest of the primetime schedule filling in based on outcomes (though I'm assuming that Berto-Ortiz II picks off one of the primetime dates, as does Stevenson's next fight and possibly Daniel Jacobs' next fight), I'd sit tight:

-Wilder vs Martin, Jacobs vs Golovkin/Wade, and Danny Garcia's next title defense are all options for primetime PBC dates.

          enjoy the ride

They had 2 fights in Feb and only 1 in March. And only 2 in April. And based on Showtime's schedule they will have little to few fights through June. And starting back in Nov of last year the amount of cards per month from PBC has been drastically falling. They were pumping out 8 cards a month just last Sept. So it's not a slow month for PBC. Unless they schedule another fight in the next week for April this will be a slow FOUR-FIVE months for PBC. I remember last year when the amount of cards started to fall off fans said it was just because of Football. And that PBC will ramp up after the Superbowl because that's the dead time for major sports. Now PBC probably won't ramp back up till Summer time...MAYBE lol

Jacobs vs Quillin, in Brooklyn, was the massive fight that everyone involved had been building to; the fight as either going to end up primetime on terrestrial TV or as a payout on Showtime (with PBC's primetime dates running out in Yr 1, the card ended up on Showtime).

The insinuations about the demise of PBC, and the fact that PBC haters are now citing rumors about rumors as concrete proof, is hilarious.

Showtime's schedule, through mid June, is now basically set; SpikeTV's monthly schedule of fights begins with Broner-Theophane on April 1, with ESPN's monthly schedule beginning in June. NBC's schedule begins with Spence-Algieri, the FOX/FS1 schedule is already 6 shows in, and the standalone CBS schedule(depending on what gets booked) will likely also come forward.

10 PBC shows already booked by April( no doubt that another 3-4 shows, at least, will be added to the schedule before Spence-Algieri), after PBC aired 46 fight cards in a shortened Yr1.

As the fight schedule slowly fills in, the "doomsday disaster of PBC" folks will continue to look even more foolish.

Massive fight? It did 300k viewers flopping big time on Showtime. And again the fact is since late last year NOBODY knows if any of these fights will actually end up on PBC. Too many cases of fights being leaked as PBC fights but being pushed back for months (ex Thurman vs Porter) or flat out shipped to Showtime (Jacobs) or guys now fighting on HBO (Khan). 8 PBC Shows booked through the end of April (Jan 4, Feb 2, March 1, April 2) the rest ARE NOT PBC shows they are Showtime produced shows that air under the Showtime brand NOT PBC brand. Showtime paid for them most of these fights would be going under the PBC brand if the money weren't running out. They put out 8 shows in last Sept alone and by the end of April that's the exact amount TOTAL they will have the first Quarter of 2016. That's not alarming? Or that they said all these network deals were monthly series. Yet it will be AT LEAST 8 months before the next PBC on ESPN card and not by design because they have pushed back the ESPN 2016 debut not once, not twice but 3 times according to Dan Rafael who I'm assuming is a great source on this since he works for ESPN. Or the long months NBC, SPIKE have gone without fights. The last Bounce card announced future dates for the next Bounce card which Dan Rafael reported this week has been CANCELED. They can't even afford those low budget Bounce TV fights lol

That might have been the plan, but was it part of the pan to have SHO's boxing ratings plummet in the meantime?

I think this announcement is great, there's some really quality fights in it.

But with that said, I'm just wondering what the ratings will be like on SHO.

Cuz I'm looking at the schedule, and while there is some quality there, we know that Europoean-based fight cards usually don't do great ratings in the states...so Martin-Joshua and Wilder-Povetkin may not do great numbers. Gary Russell Jr. isn't a ratings draw. Jack-Bute and Provodnikov-Molina probably won't do great ratings.
