Anthony Joshua vs Charles Martin

Joshua did a good job against a decent fighter who was about the same size as him. He wasn't really tested so hard to say with it means other than his straight right hand is good enough to deal with a southpaw. He kept it simple but that was all it required, there are certainly still questions that he needs to answer but nothing from this fight raised additional questions.
Martin needs to invest his money wisely, he can still do alright as a journeyman testing up and comers along with the odd stay busy fight for higher end guys but he will never make this sort of money again.Comment

All I want to know is when is that rematch happening? Wlad is going to end Fury this time around. He's gotten some personal things sorted out and now it's time to show the world what should have happened the first time.

Both guys are unproven and Martin was an unknown with a glossy record. I can see why some thought Charles was going to win.
Martin fights to slow of a pace and Joshua has a right hand.
I rather Joshua had won because he will bring more excitement into the HW divisionComment

Pac/Bradley 3 is on soon.
I ask the same question about Tyson Fury and GGG. Completely likable fighters. Any true, unbiased fight fan should be all over guys like that.Comment

Joshua deserves credit for going in there and doing what he was supposed to do against a guy like Martin. he looked like he was well in control of his nerves and performed well and I've been one of his critics. so well done to him.
On the other hand, I still haven't altered my view on him, if an opponent is skilled enough to neutralize his power and take him past the mid rounds he will get stopped. Much better him having the strap though than a guy like Martin.Comment
