Former triple world champion Jhonny Gonzalez is training hard for his next fight, scheduled for April 2 against Japanese contender Kosuke Saka, tentatively in Acapulco, Guerrero.

Gonzalez has not stepped in the ring since last December, when he defeated another Japanese fighter Hurricane Futa on points in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.
