i enjoyed that **** a lot,i mean the whole countdown thing..it got me pumped for the fight and damn mayorga taking this **** seriously ,way more then Trinidad. Cant Wait,its gonna be a great fight. My favorite line was something like "Mayorga will come in and lose spectacular or win spectacular."

I lost all respect for Kellerman when he suggested that Jack Johnson would beat Dempsey because he "was too big and had too much reach". The problem with that statement is that Dempsey actually had the longer reach.

Maybe he meant "enough" of a reach advantage. Not more reach.

The way that Jack threw punches I think he could have kept dempsy' at a distance and picted him apart.

He also had some slick D for his era.

he knows the fight game and knows it well, so whether or not you like him, hes on hbo and landed the job so get used to seeing him

and JJ was more devastating AT RANGE WITH HIS JAB than dempsey..dempsey was a swarmer..so maybe thats why he said that..

I believe that Jack's firepower and speed, plus his bob and weave defense would have been enough to beat Jack Johnson.

You blow up his comments too much. Talk about bias, seems there is some anti-Kellerman bias.

That same comment is leveled at nearly 80% of all up and coming fighters because it is true. Younger guys who can cut weight and feel no ill effects usually fight at a weight class well below what they could fight at so they will have a bigger size advantage.

De La Hoya's career has shown that once he did in fact move up in weight, around his more natrual size, he ceased to have the same explosive ko power and stamina.
